The Dog (Fouling Of Land) Act 1996 states:

'If a dog defecates at any time on designated land, the person in charge of the dog must remove the faeces from the land.'
The maximum penalty at present is £1000. However, local authorities may choose a lower penalty as they see fit.
A choice of signs are available in 1.5mm Aluminium or Self Adhesive Vinyl.
Each aluminium sign is designed with fixing holes for wall mounting and punched to take steel banding for alternative fixing.
