Who are Equip4work?

With over 20 years experience of B2B commerce, Equip4work are your best bet to finding the products you need, at the prices you expect. We are a family business who's aim is to make sure our customers get the best service possible. Our sales staff are always on hand to give you expert advice whether it be about a new desk or chair, or you are moving office and have a tight deadline to meet - we want to take some of the stress off your shoulders!


Who can order from Equip4work?

Anybody can order from Equip4work! We are primarily a Business2Business supplier, but we also sell to private individuals too - just remember to add the dreaded VAT to our prices (which is done for you at the checkout).


How Can I Order From Equip4work?

...Couldn't be easier. You can place your order online, by phone, by fax, or by post.

Online... Our website is packed with over 150,000 products and is growing all the time. We offer the best choice of office furniture, desks, office chairs, home office furniture, display and presentation equipment including white boards, notice boards, leaflet dispensers etc. and a lot lot more! By phone...We realise that the internet is not everybody's cup of tea when it comes to placing orders - we have a dedicated and expert trained sales staff on hand to offer advice and take you order from 8.30am - 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. Please call 08444 999 222 (select option 1 for sales).

By fax... Simply fax your purchase order (or fax order form from your catalogue) to 08444 999 322. We will fax your order back with an order confirmation to confirm we have received your order and it has been processed.

If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you as quickly as possible to allow you to alter your order, or even go elsewhere - we want our customers to receive exactly what they need!


Pricing Questions

All of our prices include FREE delivery to UK mainland (see delivery section below for more details), but exclude VAT , which will be shown to you when you place items in your basket.

For a few of our items, the values are so small, that there is sometimes a small charge if your order doesn't meet a set value - we have to charge this because of the costs involved with processing any order including picking & packing, and the paperwork raised. You will always be informed of this on the item pages this applies to, and the basket. Only approximately 0.1% of our orders incur these costs.

Please note, payment will be taken as soon as your order is received - we have to do this in order to get your order moving. If there are any problems with your card, one of our sales team will call you (don't worry, it is usually a typo!).

You can pay by cheque -
Please call our sales team on 08444 999 222 (option 1) for details. We will send you a Pro Forma invoice to attach your cheque to and send back by post. This allows us to ensure your order is processed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

You can open an account (not available for private individuals) -

Instant Credit Accounts for: Government bodies, Local Authority, NHS, MOD, Schools, Colleges, Universities etc.

For businesses, you can select to open a credit account during the checkout process. For this, we will need your company details including a company registration number (where applicable). Credit accounts will be accepted subject to a third party credit check. You can also call our sales team on 08444 999 222 (option 1) and they will set up an account for you.
Once your order is placed, we will send you an email confirmation to confirm that your account is open and your order has been processed.


Delivery Questions

We don't want to pull the wool over your eyes...

How Long... Unlike our competitors - every item on our website has a coloured dot marked delivery next to the price. You can check with the Delivery key at the bottom of every item page (or hover your mouse pointer over the dot) to give you a guide of how long delivery of your item will take. These delivery times are given as a guide and delivery may be before, or in some cases slightly after this date. We always try to deliver your items as quickly as possible!

Times... Deliveries can only be made during working hours, Monday to Friday and we cannot always provide an exact date at the time of ordering. For furniture items, you will usually receive a phone call a 1-2 days before delivery. If you want to know when your order will arrive, you can email our CS team at customerservices@equip4work.co.uk or give them a call on 08444 999 222 (option 2).

Where... We can only deliver items within the UK. FREE delivery applies to addresses within UK Mainland, and for the majority of items delivery is also free to the Highlands of Scotland. If there are any issues we will contact you as soon as possible once your order is placed. If you would like some advice regarding delivery before ordering, please do not hesitate to email our sales team at sales@equip4work.co.uk or give them a call on 08444 999 222 (option 1).

Deliveries are made to the ground floor entrance of your premises as per standard transport practices. If delivery is to another floor, an optional installation fee will apply, which can be selected in the basket once the products have been added. If this option is not available, please do not hesitate to call our sales staff on 08444 999 222 (option 1) as we can usually get you a price for this.

We use couriers for many of our items, and unfortunately damages can happen. If this is the case, please send us an email as soon as the item is received to customerservices@equip4work.co.uk or call our CS team on 08444 999 222 (option 2) and we will deal with this for you as a priority. If possible, please attach a photo of the damage to your email.


What if i have a problem with my order?

We take customer services seriously!
We know that from time to time, things don't go 100% to plan. But unlike other companies who leave you on hold for long periods of time, we want to get the problem sorted as quickly as possible for you, OUR CUSTOMER. If you have any problems with your order, please do not hesitate to drop us an email to customerservices@equip4work.co.uk and we will reply within 30 minutes with either an answer, or to keep you in the loop with what we are doing to sort this issue.

We understand that some things can't be sorted by email - in these cases, please call our CS team on 08444 999 222 (option 2). Calls are charged at local rates (not expensive 0870 numbers).
